www.ticketweb.co.uk Bassist, composer and band-leader Avishai Cohen, is a musician who has been called a jazz visionary of global proportions by Downbeat, and declared one of the 100 Most Influential Bass Players of the 20th Century by Bass Player magazine. For tonight’s rare London show (his first in over two years) Cohen will present music from his recent Blue Note album Aurora and beyond and he has chosen to play one of London’s most atmospheric venues, Islington’s Union Chapel.
"Avishai Cohen builds a directory, makes a recording, creates a sound and puts up a universe like no other."
JAZZMAN- France
