Avishai Cohen began as a street musician in New York, but worked his way up to be the sought-after Bassist of Alicia Keys, Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea. The Israeli also embarked on a successful solo career. On Seven Seas, his latest CD, he masterfully blends his Jewish roots with his love of pure jazz.
